Bill, This is just a guess, could it be the Finns built the M27s to tighter tolerances? I say this because of how well built everyone says they are. I have a '44 Isky and a '46 Isky, both rearsenaled....

Maybe try this...put the muzzle down in a piepan and rest the rifle in the corner of a room. Put some Kroil penetrating oil, Liquid Wrench, or even WD-40 in it periodically from the chamber end....
